The woman behind the blog

A few things have changed since I first launched The Newest Classic 2 years ago & I wanted to share an update as well as introduce myself to those who may be new to the blog.

I started this blog to share my thoughts & opinions on all things fashion & beauty related as well as give a little glimpse into my life. I am an aspiring fashion designer and a huge fashion enthusiast. Fashion has always been a great love of mine since my childhood. I love being able to be inspired & from there bring my thoughts to life through the use of clothing. Aside from fashion, I also am a huge beauty fanatic & a lover of DIYs.

I am currently wrapping up my undergrad at the University of North Texas. I am set to graduate in December with a BA in Interdisciplinary Art & Design Studies in Design Management. I am also double minoring in fashion merchandising & marketing. My path has definitely changed since making the switch from Fashion Design to Design Management.Although I changed my major, my goals remain the same. I aspire to work in the fashion industry upon graduation. My long term goal remains the same. I still want to become a fashion designer & create my very own brand & company but of course all good things take time & hard work.
